We had so much fun at school with our stuffy friends! First, we wrote down five rules that our stuffy needed to know before they could sleepover in our classroom. Then, we predicted what our stuffies would do at school, at night. When we walked into the class we found some stuffies following rules, playing nicely, and some other stuffies were a little naughty! Two stuffies even coloured in a book! We then wrote about where we found our stuffy and what it was doing. A sneaky way to get the 'smarties' to write a lot! Below is a slideshow of all the fun!

We have finished our class mural about animals in winter. These little smarties have learned a lot about how animals survive winter. We discussed hibernation, migration, and adaptation, as ways animals cope with winter weather and a shortage of food.
We are talking a lot about how animals survive winter, and worked on these lovely pieces of art. The images are in a slideshow. Making the snowflakes by splatter painting was lots of fun! |
