The 'littles' have spent October thinking about the important places in their community (in between practicing our songs for 'Oliver'). They came up with some really insightful questions to ask the community helpers on our field trip. We talked about how communities are places where people live, work, learn, and play. The beach is a big part of our community; however, the new pool came out on top as the most favourite place in our community!
We have been talking about ways to "fill each other's buckets" by using kind words and doing kind things. We have some very kind and helpful little people in our class and they are filling our buckets every day! ❤️ This is the conflict resolution program we use at Peace Arch. We do not just see it as a bullying prevention program, but as a way for kids to learn to solve everyday problems that occur in a social situation at school.
